Our next stop from Block Island, RI is Newport, RI. Of course the winds were supposed to be decent in the Ocean, but as soon as we get out, the winds are much higher. We finally make it and anchored out in Brenton Cove. There was a little beach we could take the dogs to. I was surprised how large the city is. We did walk around to check it all out, but mostly stayed near the water. We found a few places that were dog friendly and went to those so the dogs could join the fun! Our 2 favorites were O'Briens and Wharf Southern Kitchen & Whiskey Bar! We stayed for a bit - week of so but wanted to start the journey back and also visit our friends in Greenport, NY on the way back.
