OFF THE HARD
16 April 2017 | St. Marys Boat Services
Sunny, 84F, wind 10-15
We launched around noon last Friday. Since the boat was out of the water for over 30 days, a lot of planks dried out. When we launched, the 3700 GPH pump was running for 1 minute every two minutes. We sat in the sling for about an hour then moved over to the dock (see picutre).
The "flooding" has subsided considerably after 48 hours and the small pump now runs once every 45 minutes. If this trend continues, we will be leaving tomorrow for the trip north.
The boat looks really good and for the first time in 18 years, it was all painted at once.
Hope to post every day going north.
