Just a quick addition, we arrived at Morris Island for an overnight stay. Morris Island is a coral cay, quite picturesque. A solitary palm tree is conspicuous from quite a distance out. A yacht came in a little while after we arrived.
Next morning we set off for Portland Roads. We had company all day, the other yacht at Morris Island (Consequence) seemed to be on the same heading as us.
Got into Portland Roads. We went ashore for dinner, (my gumboots sure came in handy), the tide was out quite some way, nothing like turning up at a cafe for dinner in your Welles. Let me tell you there is nothing here, the cafe being the only business here.
