Leaving Gili Banta, our destination was Gili Aer. Was not a Rally stop, Medana Bay was which is on Lombok Island. Kelvin said he had been to Gili Aer and assured us we would like it there and we didi. Gili Aer is one of three Gili's, the other two being Gili Meno and Gili Trawargan.
On the passage to Gili Aer, we made a number of overnight stops. The 4 of us (Ruth, Kelvin , Mike and I) had made decision not to do overnighters, as we had a plenty of time to get to Gili Aer.
Sumbawa is a very long island, we averaged 35NM per day between anchorages, 5 in total:
