What were we going to do on Christmas Eve, so far from home, family and friends. The eight orphans, the same as mentioned below decided we would go out for drinks and dinner. The streets and restaurants were fill of people like ourselves, tourists. A couple of pre dinner drinks were enjoyed and then we strolled along the streets to find a restaurant. We decided on No.6, though their city restaurant was booked out, they have another up in the hills above Patong Beach with free transport, so we opted for that. We enjoyed dinner and the view, then returned to Patong. It was to the Tiger Bar for another round of drinks and then a walk along the beach back to the jetty and our boats. Jan came over for a night cap or 2, maybe it was more, it was almost 3.00am before he left. An enjoyable night.
Christmas Lunch was on Keris - Liz, Steve, Jan, Norma, Emily, Fred, Mike and myself. We all contributed something towards lunch. It was a late start, I think we all had sore heads from the night before. It was a great afternoon, as s usual for Christmas Day, we all ate and drank to much.
