What a lovely spot this is. It is one of the most picturesque and tranquil anchorages on Phuket. Some of the Rally boats gathered here for Christmas as it has become quite a favourite spot for cruising yachts. There is only two hotels in this bay which means it is never overcrowded. A great place to get away to after the crowds at Patong and Karon Beaches. Phuket Town is only about 45 minutes drive away. We went ashore for dinner and found it to be quaint, if that is a word I can use to described a Thai Holiday spot. A few restaurants adorned the beach where I had an extremely delicious Penang Curry, both Mike and Fred said they enjoyed their meals as well.
It was New Years Eve the next day, so we were having an early start to get back to Patong Beach to get a good anchorage before dozens of other boats arrived.
