Almost forgot to add this post, James Bond Island is a must see though it is no more impressive (hey, I found another word to describe the scenery) than any of the other places we have seen. There are many places the day tours do not visit, but those cruising through this area have the time to explore and maybe lucky enough to discover a hidden cave, beach etc.
James Bond Island was made famous by the filming of "The Man With the Golden Gun" starring Roger Moore. It is a major tourist attraction, sometimes thousands of tourists visit daily. Many stalls are set up selling food and souvenirs. We arrived late in the afternoon and missed all the tourists, we virtually had the island to ourselves, it was so nice to be able to enjoy the island without the crowds. There are many interesting formations to be seen and a stunning lagoon.
