We left Bermagui at Dawn this morning and so far having a good run up the coast. The breeze is from the SE and the swell is about 1.5 m so reasonable comfortable. We would like a bit more wind but at least its from the correct direction. We will sail through the night and should be in Sydney Harbour about midday tomorrow.
We are about 9 miles off shore and we have another yacht who left around the same time running parallel with us but hugging the coast. So far the dreaded east coast current has been kind with only about a knot against us.
Weather is overcast but warm. I will post another blog tomorrow morning.
