What's in a name?

I keep forgetting to answer the question some have asked. Why is the boat named KIST? My grandfather bottled pop in Fife, WA back in the early 60's. Some of my early memories are of helping grandpa in the factory to earn money for a bottle of cherry pop. Cherry was my favorite but I'm sure I enjoyed all different flavors. Oh, and I'm sure that I worked really hard for that bottle of pop. Our family has a number of KIST pop bottles and when Kevin and I were trying to decide on a name that one just came to mind. Sort of a good luck charm. Our friend Eric built a special shelf so that I could display one of the old pop bottles without worrying about it falling off and breaking.
While on the name subject - Some cruisers name their autopilots, many we've heard and seen referenced as Otto. We decided to name ours Wilbur and Orville. Kevin used to call Karissa and Kelsey those names when he was playing around with them. I'm never sure which one was which but I know when we are using the autopilot now one of them is along for the ride!
The photo is of KIST flying the spinaker off the Northern Coast of Oregon. One of the few times we've sailed so far.
