An old Poem I wrote

Me
Know Patience
It won't be long before my ship comes in on a warm trade wind.
Know Patience
I haven't been home in a month of Sundays
Know Patience
I keep wondering when it will all end
Know Patience
All I can think of is how lucky I've been to have had these days
Know Patience
By the light of the moonlight and stars. Will I be able to see it
Know Patience
The light house on this day, How many have I passed along the way
Know Patience
The sea is a troubling calm when the wind begins to lay
Know Patience
If only God would let me split the difference between boredom and terror that is me
Know Patience
Stars on the water start to come into me like a long lost friend as I space into the sea
Know Patience
Alone on a midnight passage, rolling with the punches, living out my hunches, wishing for better way
Know Patience
Would I feel this way tomorrow, All of my yesterdays are invested in tomorrows way to be
Know Patience
With her, I have a new heart again and free
Know Patience
From water, to water, on water, and in water my movement seem to stray
Know Patience
Island sands, rocks, and reefs are nothing but memories on this bay
Know Patience
Home is in the trees and grass on the land of my Fathers days
Know Patience
This crazy way of Keys and Cays are of wonder and imagination that no one can take away from me
Know Patience
She brought me here, She took me away, She leads me back like another course in another time.
Know Patience
I wanted more than one till I found the one I wanted
Know Patience
Tomorrow my come, don't know what it will bring with you and me in my mind
Know Patience
It's been anyplace, anytime, anywhere for you, let the chips fall where they will
Know Patience
Songs of life, songs of love, I got a song to sing
Know Patience
These two hands got a boat to build, I have got dreams to fill, let the wind blow me where it will
Know Patience
In the shape of her heart I can see the sea of love that I navigate
Know Patience
With all that happens out on the edge, I try so hard to relate
Know Patience
Pieces fit into pieces and time tells the story to even those that never hear
Know Patience
Laying here in the darkness, everything can change, it can get pretty strange
Know Patience
I need you dear, I need you to be near, I say this if only you could hear
Know Patience
I need more of a mission than fishing out on this range
Know Patience
How far do I need to go, how long will it take till I prove to myself
Know Patience
These winds will fill you up, this water will bring you down
Know Patience
We move by these waters bringing us up, and this wind pushing us down
Know Patience
Everthing is coming our way
Know Patience
