What a great day! We launched the boat in Portopalo and headed to Taormina, Sicily. We were here in the car earlier . A beautiful spot to moor below this rugged mountain village.

It is real now! We are finally on the water and sleeping on the boat in the water.
Our sail was good but not really enough wind. We only have two sails on at the moment, the rest will be here next week.

We had “ Frans” come with us to help with the navigation equipment and some other things. This boat has a lot of technical things on it !! Much to figure out as we go!

Exciting news is... we have water!! Yay!

Cam had a swim when we got here and he loved it!!

We will be here for awhile now, waiting for the new Bimini cover to be finished and sails to come etc.
