Made a morning of laundry. Dinghied over to Bluff House and found a single washer, in use, with an accompanying pile of laundry. Walked to Green Turtle Marina and found six empty washers. Score!
Took hike of territory to get lay of the land. Got lost in lay of land, and maze of roads. Found beach on Atlantic side by the roar of ocean. Wind speed off of ocean was around 30 knots. After some tricky navigating via island dump found way back.
In the afternoon stopped by the Lowe Museum for local history. Ivy Roberts, the museum curator, gave us all of the history along with her personal account of Green Turtle. she informed Jim anchoring outside was crazy with the winds. Nice, hearing such candid scolding from an older matron.

About: The captain is a ex-northeasterner living the goodlife aboard Koala in south Florida.
