Endless Beach - Atlantic side of Stocking Is
Went into George Town to the "Pets store" to buy some wifi. The price was great...the service s__cks! I have great signal strength most of the time but it either drops me or goes so slowly you don't know if the server went offline-aarrgh! And then when you try to get online, the login page just won't come up. I hope the connection lasts long enough for me to get this out.
Anyway, we also did a run into the grocery store for a few items and then filled up the water jugs with the free water at the Exuma Market docks before heading back to the boat for the day. After lunch we hiked the northern trails of Stocking Island. It was hot!! In areas where we were out of the wind the sun was a scorcher. But the vistas were just awesome. The Atlantic beach had a great breeze on it, so it wasn't as hot. I finished putting the last minute touches on the water bladder I have so we can go in with the dinghy and pickup 25 gallons of water at a time rather than the 7 gallons I've been getting. That'll keep the tanks full without having to give up our fantastic anchor spot and sneaking into the marina at high tide. Tomorrow I have several boat tasks ahead as I get ready for Gene to arrive Wednesday. "Break....more to follow"!
