The wind had picked up steam making the crossing from Stocking Island to George Town a rather wet one. Gene would be in for a real carnival ride. He arrived and met us at the Peace and Plenty pool bar. We had a few Guiness Foreign Exports at 7.5% ; they do it better. We all donned our raincoats and headed back to a breezy sunset. Dinner was quick and nice, but Gene was ready to rest after no sleep and travel. For once, I was the night owl.
