Passing another ferry; the ferry system is quite extensive in the San Juan Islands with multiple ferries going at multiple time a day (seven daily sailings to Orcas) at a fraction of capacity. But the convenience is payed for at $60.00 each time we go to Orcas. I would much rather have less options on the schedule and pay a lot less on a full ferry. But it is Government run so waste is expected.
