We are still in Ketchikan preparing the boat for the voyage. A lot of time was spent cleaning up after our bottom paint job. The painter made no effort to prevent paint dust, from the sanding off the old bottom paint from settling on the boat. The paint dust mixed with rain water had severely stained the boats' surface. It took two days of long hours to clean the boat, and then more rain washed more paint dust out of nook and crannies, sailcloth, ropes and sheets, and caused the staining again. Oh well, we are done cleaning and it is what it is. Tomorrow we have to find a veterinarian for Scooter, he has not been feeling well. After that, we will do some final food shopping and we will be off. Our goal is now to be underway early Tuesday morning.
