The weather is improving. The plan is now to leave Hoonah in the morning and move on to Elfin Cove. We should arrive Elfin Cove tomorrow evening. Elfin Cove will be our waiting place before we enter the Gulf of Alaska for a 32 hour trip to Yakutat. We will wait in Hakutat for a three day weather window to cross the Gulf of Alaska to Prince William Sound. We really enjoyed our time in Hoonah and were tempted to leave our boat here and come back every summer, but there is a lot of Prince William Sound that we need to explore. However, Hoonah may be in our future. I don't know if we will have internet; maybe not until we reach home. Picture is of an eagle in a nest downtown Hoonah.
