We made it to Elfin Cove, arriving yesterday afternoon. It has a quaintness to it. The entire town is on a raised boardwalk all interconnecting. The town has nine fishing lodges, a post office and a general store. Numerous float planes arrive everyday exchanging clients. This area is known for the best sport fishing in Alaska. We would have liked to stay and fish for a couple of days but we have a unbelievable good weather window that we must take advantage of. Attached is a picture of one of the lodges.
