Survey

It stretched my project management skills to their limits, but I finally got everyone's ducks in a row.
Surveyor and launch booked.
All in all, the survey and sea trial went quite well. A couple of minor items identified that have to be rectified by the seller. Only two disappointing items: the sails are in 'OK' condition. Bar the unused heavy Dacron storm jib all of them will need replacing sooner rather than later.
Also, the Maxprop is as good as 'gone' and will need to be replaced soon (as in now). As I was very pleased with the Darglow Featherstream I had on my previous boat, I am looking to get the same for this one.
Just awaiting the result of the oil analysis (engine and gearbox). If they are OK, we have our next boat.
She's back on the hard now and if she does become our boat I will have her Coppercoated before she relaunches.
Plan is to sail her to Brittany - at a leisurely pace - mid June.
