Going places - one day at a time

Winter sailing

Winter sailing.
Love it. Just wish there were more opportunities to take the boat out.
At the moment, I'm lucky if I can catch a day here or there in between storms. And we seem to be getting more than our fair share of storms lately.

Looking forward to taking delivery of the new sails in the near future. The mainsail in particular is well past its sell-by date.
Looks ever more baggy than before now that I have lost all but one of the battens (Velcro does not last forever).

Still, little sailing is better than no sailing at all.
A day afloat is never wasted.

The long term weather forecasts are starting to look less gloomy.
As long as I can keep taking the boat out (and the government doesn't announce another nationwide lockdown) I think I'm going to survive this.

Better days are ahead.
