Becky/87 degrees, no wind, hot and buggie in the marina
At 8 am we left our boat and took a water taxi to the mainland, then a bus to the border. We checked out of Panama and crossed the bridge into Costa Rica. The photo above is the old bridge built in 1906. They are going to tear it down soon. Then we checked into Costa Rica and walked to a near by restaurant for lunch. There is an hour time difference, so the lady looked at us funny asking for a beer with lunch, seeing it was still morning. The rule is you need to stay 72 hours before checking back into Panama. Well we did it in 2 hours, by being very nice with big smiles. All we need to do was get another 6 months for our visa. Of course Denny visited the duty free store and bought himself some good rum. Back on the boat at 5 pm with cocktail in hand, mission accomplished!
