We crossed the Equator yesterday at longitude 132 degrees west(as you can probably see on the chart). The proper diploma certifying that we have gone from being polywogs to shellbacks was duly signed by Captain David and blessed by King Neptune and the event was duly celebrated with champagne while dressed in our finest sarongs. Our first full day in the southern hemisphere greeted us with light winds, plenty of rain and occasional motoring. The Marquesas are getting near. For anyone making comments on our blog, we can't wait to see them.
