Grenada here we come!
After leaving our guests, we head down the windward coast of Grenada to meet up with our old sailing friends from Canada, Janet & Cedric and their Swedish yacht "Trillium Wind" (TW for short, and also the nickname for Janet's very special appetisers always served with sundowners!). We anchor in Clarkes Court Bay, just outside the marina and spend a couple of wonderful days in TW's company. A couple of hairy trips via dollar bus to Grenada's capital, St Georges, to source supplies for the yacht, and visit the fantastic markets are also a must.. The Grenadans really are amongst the most friendly people we have met throughout the islands, they have perfected the smile and greet technique ! We move Lady Liv to Prickly Bay (about 4 miles west) and meet up with Brit friends Jackie & Adrian aboard their catamaran "Oceans Dream" - which has proved troublesome for them over the past year or so, but hopefully the worst of this is now behind them, and she does look great on the water !
