Welcome Dietrich & Monika !
We welcomed our next guests, mature sailors from the North of Germany with their own boat on the Baltic Sea (somewhat different to the Tropics !), and set off from the very luxurious Port Louis Marina heading northwards through the islands to finish our week long trip at Marigot Bay, St Lucia. The sailing was good, with variable winds, a mix of sunshine and stormy weather, sometimes challenging seas and great company! We visited the gorgeous Sandy Island, where Dietrich had us all laughing with his approach to entering the water with flippers on, spotted loads of fish and admired the healthy and extensive coral at this very special location.

We continued our trip via the Tobago Cays, which was a little unsettled sadly, but didn't prevent M from snorkelling the turtles with our guests who greatly admired the many turtles of different sizes that they saw. Our final stop in St Vincent & the Grenadines was the lovely Cumberland Bay where Lady Liv was visited by Joseph the Rasta, Joseph the Fish, Carlos, William & Brudder .. lovely to see them all again. We were anchored, and tied to a large log, right on the river estuary which proved to be so chilly from the 'river draught' that Captain Bob was wearing his fleece and the inside of the yacht was full of condensation in the morning - very odd ! Our final journey was the relatively short passage between St Vincent - past the marijuana growers association tents - and Marigot Bay in St Lucia where we dropped our tanned and relaxed sailing guests early evening before joining them for a sundowner cocktail at the lovely Marigot Bay Beach hotel. Eine schoene Woche zusammen !
