Bahamas Third Season
26 January 2010 | Nassau
Dawn
After spending a couple months in Marathon Florida on a mooring ball, we left last Tuesday about 2:00PM crossing the Gulf Stream to South Riding Rock arriving about 6:00AM. We continued on across the banks spending the night anchored near the NorthWest Channel Light. Our next night was Chub Cay anchorage then on to Nasau where we checked in with customs & immigration.
We are staying in a marina in the harbor bay across from Atlantis resort. While here Bruce recalculated the auto pilot range which had caused problems on the last leg of our crossing. Tomorrow we are expecting a new control box for the Windlass electric anchor equipment.
We had a musical sundowner party last night with s/v Interlude (Tom & Kathy), s/v Sojurn (rob {guitar} and mary) and s/v Blessed Spirit (Corning {squeeze box} and Tita). We look forward to making new friends all along the way. Cheers!
