Bimini to Nassau

Our stay in Bimini was very interesting. A little country in its own way. We met Ansel Saunders a local wooden boat builder and bone fish guide who knew Martin Luther King. Kathy and I volunteered at the All Ages School. I had first grade. They wanted to touch my blonde hair. We found they have a lot of needs especially for water bubble coolers. With the help of several other boaters we provided funds for four.
After a 24 hour crossing the Bahama Banks (shallow sea area) and the Northwest Passage (very deep ocean) we are in Nassau at a marina. Went to Atlantis one night to see the aquarium and have dinner at a Bobby Flay resturant. Attended Christ Anglican Cathederal Sunday. It was wonderful with great organist and choir; lot of chants and scripture. The people really dress up here; hats and all for church.
