While Ouvea has to be one of the most dramatically beautiful areas we have visited, it was also a place of sadness for us, since this is where we parted company with Harmonie.

We have sailed with them since the Caribbean almost two years ago, getting to know them properly whilst crossing the Panama Canal. We have shared good weather and bad weather, lots of meals and countless drinks, excellent conversation and wonderful anchorages. They are hurrying on to Brisbane and plan to move North through Indonesia and Malaysia next year. We plan to follow them after one more year in the South Pacific.

We had a final meal with them on board Harmonie before waving them off. We're hoping to see them in Brisbane before they take off and maybe catch up with them further on into Asia.
