60 at Musket Cove
25 June 2010
We arrived at Musket the day before Michael's birthday. It was great to be back again. Who should we end up next to but Terry & Christine on Sedna - the big brother version of our Lagoon. We had kept missing them around Savusavu, so it was great to catch up - we hadn't seen them for over a year.
Michael's birthday started with a leisurely cooked breakfast at the resort restaurant, followed by a late afternoon massage. Later, we had champagne and assorted nibbles at the bar with friends who were in Musket, followed by some heavier drinking at the bar and back on the boat. It was a good evening, but we didn't feel too good next day!
It was good for Michael to have his brother there for his birthday, but unfortunately Paul injured his back, and had to leave us next day to seek physio help on the mainland. Hopefully he managed to get it sorted before his diving trip on the Rainbow reef.
We made the most of the facilities at Musket and had an enjoyable lunch (love the floating table) on the sandbar before departing for Denerau to get our mainsail fixed.
