We left England on 4th October and made a reviving overnight stop at the airport hotel in Singapore before flying on to Langkawi. What bliss after a long, cramped, sleepless flight to just wheel your baggage trolley into a hotel and sink into a comfortable bed. We reached Rebak Marina fully revived and launched Lady Kay the following day after checking her underside. It was nice to be back.
Plenty of jobs to be done on the boat, some which we needed to do before we left Rebak and others which we were going to leave until we reached Thailand. However, each day of copiously sweating work was rewarded by our regular late afternoon swim in the pool, followed by a large glass of white wine as we lounged in the relative cool of early evening.
