We had our first night on this passage, basically under engine in light winds. We were all quite tired and didn't fancy struggling with flogging sails through the night.

However, this morning the sun was shining we got the sails up and are now heading north with our huge new spinnaker pulling us along albeit slowly. We are averaging about 5 knots in 10 knots of wind. We are hoping to make a short pause at the Minerva reefs on the way up to Tonga. They are about 630 miles from here. We should be there in about 5 days at current speeds.

Everybody is fine on board and enjoying the pleasant seas at the moment.
