Dolphins and whales

Jackie and Michael
We spent another quiet night in light winds last night. This morning though we have been hurtling along with a Westerly wind, the edge of a cold front. You can see our speed above. We have been hitting 8 knots but quite comfortably. Our weather forecast is for the wind to die down again though. We are just over 350 miles from the Minerva reef. It's definitely getting warmer but Jackie still has a hot water bottle in action
Yesterday we showed you new crew member Brennan who is coming to Tonga with us. Today we show one of his pictures of dolphins playing at the bows of the boat as we left Opua. It's a short beaked common dolphin, we think.
