Friends From Afar

More Ketchup . . . (and no onions unless they're ringed)
Seems like all we are doing these days is eating, walking and sleeping.
Hummmmm, I guess you say . . . "and the downside?" I've had more fish and chips since we left than I have my whole life. YUMMMM!
So, while we were in Monterey our very good friend for life, Richard Pfund, came down from Citrus Heights on AMTRAK to Monterey to sail a couple of legs with us. He has saved us on so many occasions, we are indebted to him for life. Not to mention, he is the kindest, most generous guy we know. (OK, Terry, you can be a close 2nd--if you behave).
Chris, Richard and I went walking on the Wharf, site seeing, and shopping of course. One shop we passed made us come in and buy ice cream . . . image that? Out at the end of the Pier we were treated with a large wooden dock completely packed full of seals of all sizes. They continued their "barking" into the wee hours of the night (background music).
More to come . . .
