19 June 2014 | Pasalimani anchorage
After half way through the Dardanelles we had good downwind sailing, but as we approached our planned anchorage at Kermer we decided to continue, as the anchorage is opened to the west and it would have been very uncomfortable, as the wind picked up in the evening. We cruised slowly through the night just under the genoa and reached Pasalimani on Wednesday morning through the west passage. We dropped the anchor off the village in 10 m with good holding and later in the morning the wind picked up again from NE. In the evening a calmed down a bit and we took the small dinghy and went on shore for dinner. Now we are waiting for the wind to turn North to continue towards Setur Yelova Marina.
