> A Little Red Wine, My Dear?
06 March 2008
One night a week a local bar/restaurant offers two for one drinks and free eats.
Rick and I were serving ourselves pasta when the lady sitting next to us splashed red wine all over the man at the table.
Lady kept mumbling to herself, "Thank goodness he's not a regular."
She never offered to pay to have his clothes cleaned or offer much of an apology. She did give the man her half-melted Margarita. She never did replace Rick's glass of wine.
Believe me folks, she had plenty of money. Simply a different set of values.
> Discovered Second Coat of Paint Missing
06 March 2008
Because of serious blister damage we returned to San Diego we had the hull peeled, rebuilt and painted.
We hauled out a few days after we arrived to have a dripless system installed. While out of the water we asked for a light sanding and a new coat of bottom plate.
To our amazement, when they painted tha hull (in San Diego) they did not move the jack stand for the second coat of paint. Notice the white squares.
> Surge Damage in Ensenada Harbor
06 March 2008
In early December 2006 the surge was so serious it destroyed Marina Ensenada.
We arrived in Ensenada the morning after all the destruction. Two boats sunk. Many were seriously damaged.

We enjoyed the people at Baja Naval Marina, but the serious surge forced us to move to CruisePort Village Marina.
