No pedalos out today at Son Parc!

We're back! After a memorable summer at home when we reclaimed our house from tenants, and were embraced back into our village community. It would be easier to list the friends and family members that we didn't meet up with, rather than try and mention all those that we did. It was lovely to see you all! And then the Olympics - just brilliant! But by the end of August we were ready to return to the sunny shores of Menorca and set off swiftly for Sardinia............. In our dreams...!
The weather changed here more or less as we landed on Thursday night and by Friday morning Janet and I were sand blasted by 40 knot winds as we watched the breakers crashing in on her normally tranquil, local beach! When she generously offered us the use of her apartment until conditions improved - we gratefully accepted and the staff at the marina weren't at all surprised when we asked them to postpone the launch of Lazy Pelican.
