New Sailor. Sailing the Gulf of Mexico. Tx~ Al.

I recently bought a Beneteau 31 . Now I need to sail it from Galveston TX to Mobile Area.

I plan on adding a Chart plotter before I go too.

Any advice on either of these topics would be appreciated.
