As long forecast the wind has got up and it's now West at around 25 knots with the occasional thick spray ably handled by the neat little solid dodger. Thanks Hank! The route plan was to head SW towards the projected area of the forecast low, to give good clearance off the coast and clear the heavier trafficked shipping lane. The last two have been accomplished but alas the low has proved elusive. The current forecast is for the wind to ease to around 20 knots in the mid morning and then increase to 35 knots plus so the current intention is to deploy the sea anchor after breakfast and a cup of coffee. Deploying it should be reasonably straight forward but the retrieval could be something else. It's now 3am Saturday morning so time snuggle up with my hotty
