Superb Sailing
28 December 2017 | 1510 Miles to Cape Horn
6:00pm Thursday 28th December 2017 ( UTC-3 ) The sailing conditions over the last 24 hours can only be described as superb. All the usual requirements were there - bright blue sky, puffy cumulus clouds &etc.etc. but added to this just the right amount of wind to send us speeding along in the right direction but not so much as to dip the gunnel under the tiny waves or create undue fuss. One of the unfortunate by products of this idyllic sailing is that has given me time to examine another publication on the exact solutions of the Einstein Field Equations from the mathematical standpoint. Amongst other things the author proudly announces that there are an infinite number of solutions to these equations so be forewarned - I feel I must enlighten my readers on some of the more important consequences of these solutions to our everyday lives. But that is for the future; for now is to enjoy the moment.
