Well I have been waiting all day for those ducks to line up but it must be out of season as not a solitary one was to be seen. Instead of the steady South Easter that was to announce itself after lunch we’ve had nothing but fitful airs, often not strong enough to give steerage but fortunately there was little swell so not much to do. With the temperature around 18C my fingers have been able to operate my iPad kindle without becoming red then blue so I started on a biography of Mark Twain. The stories of his growing up on the banks of the Mississippi brought back fond memories of my own childhood growing up on the banks of the Hawkesbury except in my case they actually happened.And for the evening meal? Chickpea Curry - chickpeas with onion and potato in a spicy curry sauce. Delicious.
