At 7:00am this morning it looked like it was time to tackle the blues so over to the Starboard tack in a light but steady Southerly. Frequent consultations of the weather maps showed the blue patch shrinking away to the South West so it looks like we could have a nice reach for the next seven days and even more as we get established in the South East Trades. We are carrying a reasonable amount of sail which should be fine through the night but as the winds strengthen tomorrow a little reefing may occur. With the quartering and fluctuating breeze the autopilot has been engaged for most of the day and it and the instruments seem to be well supplied by the Hydrogenerator as the speed varies between four and six knots. I have the autopilot linked to the track and it is keeping within a couple of metres either side of track without seeming to be too fussed. Todayâs special - Tuti Fruti - You Beauty.
