We travelled well through last night under a small amount of jib and a single reefed main but with the wind backing more to the ESE the jib was poled out on the Port side. The pole has been set up with its hoist and two stays such that the jib can be furled from the cockpit. I probably have as much sail up as is advisable under the fresh following conditions but the autopilot seems to be handling things pretty well. Again the Watt & Sea is keeping ahead of the task even though the propellor occasionally comes out of the water as the Yacht swerves in the mildly breaking seas as we career along. Quite a bit of blue sky and sunshine today as the cabin reached 22C and it was nice to be warm and dry after the quite lengthy task of getting things just right with the pole. Before I start moaning about the heat and humidity - The Special for Today. Hot Mint Flavoured Drinking Chocolate. Need I say more?
