The last 24 hours have been spent not much better than just drifting along averaging just over 4 knots but the long awaited change has just arrived. As happens in cases like this the first flush of fresh air is accompanied with a flurry of rain and a few adjustments had to be made to the WindPilot to counteract rounding up but I think I have that sorted. I may just ease up a little above the 14th Parallel to get away from of the half hearted stuff on my present course but I have plenty of time to make that decision. This I not to say it hasnât been a most pleasant day with all that sunshine and a comfortable 24C but you really feel you should be bounding along night and day being centred on the most favourable part of the chart for the strong steady Trades.
