A tour of the traps this morning yielded four flying fish, one large, two medium and one small which made a very pleasant meal at lunchtime rounded off with one thick pancake au naturel. For the evening meal I had Basil and Tomato Soup with the other pancake taken with just a light touch of golden syrup. The rest of the day was spent reading Howardâs End whilst sailing steadily West with no change in the sail settings and only occasional attention paid to the WindPilot. All other thoughts receded into the background as I became engrossed in this classic of English Literature so scathing comments on societyâs inanities will lay in abeyance to another day.
