Through shear force of will I managed to complete the reading of Brad Thorâs The Lions of Lucerne. At the darkest hour when such seemed impossible the thing that sustained me was the premise on which this garbage was based - that in the USA there are powerful people ranging from the Vice President down through senior Senators, heads of the Secret Service and billionaire Industrialists who are willing to carry out cold blooded murder of their comrades and lovers and the kidnapping of The President himself in order to delay the passing of legislation which in the next twenty years may decrease the United Statesâ reliance on fossil fuels.
