Slow going during the night and the early morning brought frequent little squally showers with gusts of wind. This had the effect of leaving the sea and skipper in a confused state and what wind there was between the squalls could hardly overcome the jerky movement of the yacht. Since lunch things have improved nicely with only a light but steady breeze moving more to the South. It looks like these conditions could carry on for four or five days so I will just have to be philosophical about the whole deal.
