With the exception of an hour or two in the middle of the night when we were becalmed it has been a time of leisurely sailing. There is very little swell hence the light breeze from the South of 8 to 10 knots has kept the full main and little jib drawing well and we actually cracked the ton noon to noon. The full moon is shining in though the companionway confirming we are headed in the right direction and now and again you can hear a little trickle on the hull to tell us we are moving. I took the opportunity to carry out some intricate electro-surgery on the solar panel which got doused a few days back and its back up to specs. Decanted some water and metho and confirmed plenty for the rest of the trip so no need to economise on coffee and pancakes.
