Another Slow Day

Though pleasant enough in itself another day passed slowly by in light following winds. Technically you should be able to go a little faster by heading 30 degrees off the wind but I have found the extra distance you have to cover negates the slight increase in speed. I am a little undersailed but hopefully will make better time if and when the breeze increases and swings to the North East. Did a little tidying up and discovered a part pack of porridge so if I cut down my usual helpings to twice the RDI I should survive to Southport. Even with this slow going Sunday morning at Southport is still on the cards.
