I am giving some more thought to entering the Gold Coast Seaway tomorrow afternoon as the the fresh Northerly has allowed some reasonable time to be made. The trough and corresponding South Easter is expected to pass through around midnight and if the lull is as short as predicted good time on a broad reach is attainable. Hanging around outside and with the possibility of an offshore wind early in the morning has made an evening landfall more attractive. I should be able to give a definitive ruling by mid morning.
