Troy from Booker Marine came down to the yacht bright and early and with a little persuasion soon had the exhaust elbow off to disclose a gaping hole in the manifold. Fortunately the required parts were all in stock at Seamech in Murarrie and my daughter Katherine kindly agreed to pick them up and drive up to Scarborough tomorrow morning. Barring any unforeseen difficulties the motor should be up and running tomorrow, Tuesday so a departure date of Saturday 8th June is being pencilled in. On the bright side it looks like I might have dodged gale force Southerlies where I could have been had I departed on Saturday.
