Plugging Away

Comfortably travelling in about 25 knots from the North and making just over 5 knots under double reefed main and staysail. The heading is not too bad either and I'm tending to head a bit closer to shore with some gale force NorWesters likely in a few days. There is some 35 knots predicted around midnight and I guess I'll be furling the staysail if that happens. With the breeze from the North it's comparatively warm work once the sea boots high waisted trousers and rain jacket are donned with of course the obligatory harness. A few little jobs have come up but they can wait till it's a bit calmer.
